Context
I&C Solutions manages power infrastructure projects (substations, transmission lines, distribution lines) with environmental conservation expertise built in, not bolted on. Founded out of Kaddas Enterprises by CEO Natalie Kaddas, the firm works at the intersection of three worlds that rarely speak the same language: heavy industry, environmental conservation, and government and regulatory affairs.
Challenge
I&C entered a market split between two kinds of branding: legacy engineering firms that look like 1990s catalogs, and clean-tech startups that look like consumer apps. Neither fit. The firm needed an identity that signaled deep technical credibility to utility executives and regulators, while reading as modern, human-centered, and environmentally serious to the conservation groups, communities, and stakeholders they bring along.
Approach
The name itself, Industry & Conservation Solutions, encodes the duality, so we built the brand around that ampersand. The mark balances structured, engineered geometry with breathing room and warmth. Color and photography pair real infrastructure imagery (transmission lines, substations) with conservation contexts (raptor habitat, open landscapes). Site copy is direct, technically literate, and operator-tone, "From complexity to clarity," without a word of corporate speak. Built in Framer, with motion that mirrors the firm's "tactical or turnkey" positioning.
Outcome
A digital and visual presence that lets I&C be read as one firm rather than two disciplines stapled together. The brand opens doors on both sides of the table, utility procurement and conservation partners, without compromising on either. [TK: add metric, such as pilot projects won, partner inquiries, or RFP wins.]
